Beautiful Wednesday

Hello!

I was given the opportunity to attend the Save Our Schools-Save Our State Rally Day at the State Capitol today. What an amazing day! I'll be back at Irving tomorrow. Here's what I planned for today:

Marvelous Monday

Students brainstormed what kinds of behaviors make us courteous, cooperative, and committed members of the Irving School Community. Our end-of-the-year picnic at Miller Park on May 21 will be for students who show these skills each day. As of right now, everyone in my class is attending. We will send out permission slips at the beginning of May with more information.

Tomorrow, we will be going on a trip to BHS to attend a 5th/6th grade band performance. We will leave around 9:10 and return between 10:45 and 11. Students brought home a notice about this tonight.

I was just speaking to some people tonight and found myself bragging about my class. They make it enjoyable to come to work each day!
